Hi there my name is Jaye, I am the owner of STB and I would like to share with you how it all started.
Grant and I were married here on our property 6 years ago, we found love when neither of us were expecting it and I am forever grateful that the stars aligned for us and our universe’s collided.
Needless to say I love anything flowers and everything weddings! Floristry has always flowed through my veins and I have been in the industry for over 25 years.
Tassie’s East Coast has the perfect climate for producing high quality flowers
We are situated at Spring Beach, overlooking the majestic Maria Island near Orford on Tassie’s East Coast, where we grow and propagate South African and Australian natives.
My ethos is to keep it local and sustainable. I pinch myself everyday in awe of what this coastline has to offer, the natural flora and beauty is inspiring.
Having just completed our shade house we are planning on producing more plants that will be of strong root stock for this area and more importantly the quality of these plants will produce optimal cut flowers.
We have the perfect climate for growing natives here on Tassie’s East Coast, sourcing locally is also a big part of my supply and there are some truly amazing growers from Orford to Bicheno.
